| General News New gigs are posted below--please note
Summer Semester: We'll start back up on June 8. You'll be getting a survey about your availability for dates and rehearsal times.
All members are strongly urged to attend summer camp. If any of you who haven't signed up are hesitating due to finances please speak with Robin privately! Please check here for details about camp. All groups will meet on Sundays at Lincoln Square in Urbana, in our rehearsal space in the west wing of the mall, near the food court. Our rehearsals are open for public observation. |

Sunday, July 20, 2008: Performance at Millennium Park in Chicago. This gig is on but still in negotiation. More details as they arrive. Dress: standard gig dress Set List: TBA Details: This is part of the "Great Performers of Illinois" series Saturday, October 4, 2008: Performance at Youth Literature Festival. This gig is confirmed. More details as they arrive. Time of gig: 10:00 to 10:45 AM Where: Music shell at south quad on the UIUC campus. Tickets: Free Dress: standard gig dress Set List: TBA Details: The events on October 4 will run the full gamut of free entertainment for children and adults of all ages, from storytelling and puppetry, to a poetry cafe; from museum and library exhibits at the Krannert Art Museum and the Orpheum Children's Museum, to musical performances at park district band shells. These events are designed to bring together families from throughout the area, those involved with the public sector, and a variety of community groups for one main goal: making literature the center of our lives.
