Where will we sleep?

Our resident campers will occupy dorm rooms at the Illinois Street Residence Hall
on campus.  All rooms are double occupancy, and air conditioned! (Single occupancy
rooms may be available for an extra charge.)

This is the same building where most camp activities will take place,
so you won’t have to worry about rain, excessive heat, or being late!

Girls and boys will be housed on separate floors unless they are siblings
sharing a room with a parent or guardian. Since the well-being of our campers
is our primary concern, there will be adult staff members of each gender on
hand at all times to assist campers as needed (in addition to keeping tabs
on them!) Campers will be required to check in with staff members at specified
intervals during non-class periods.

Additional security and contact point in the case of emergency is provided
by the front desk, which is staffed 24 hours a day.

You can pick your own roommate as long as. . .
. . . you’re sure she or he is definitely coming to the camp.
    . . . you’re the same gender.
    . . . your parents think it’s OK.

If you have a roommate preference then both participants need to
submit a request with the desired roommate request. If you don’t
have a roommate preference we’ll pair you up with someone of
the same gender and similar age.

You'll need to bring your own bed linens, an extra blanket, and towels. If you have a favorite pillow that you just
can’t sleep without, you should bring that too, even though one is provided.
And you have to bring your
own teddy bear!

And of course you'll need your own clothes and toiletries.
