Curriculum

Although the Bow-Dacious String Band World-on-a-String Summer Camp is primarily a music
camp, we recognize that music does not exist in a vacuum.   We strive to help campers
understand how the music they are learning relates to various cultural and social situations,
and how music can interact in exciting ways with other art forms.  To achieve these goals, we
have included these elements in our curriculum:

Technique classes & string theory  (sectionals)

Jamming

Visual arts / Multi-media project

Teachers' Workshops
